Hadia Hussain 
Chief Operating Officer 

Hadia Hossain is a second-year Biomedical Science student at the University of Ottawa, where she balances a demanding scientific curriculum with a deep commitment to community advocacy.

​A proud alumna of the Pathways to Education program, Hadia has returned to serve as a Program Assistant for Pathways at the Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre. She also serves as a Program Assistant with local Community Houses. In these roles, she provides mentorship and support to youth and residents, offering the same guidance that once empowered her.

​Outside of her academic and community work, Hadia is a photographer passionate about storytelling through photography. She specializes in portraying cinematic, candid moments that document the stories of those around her.

​Through her experiences supporting others, Hadia has gained a greater insight into the significance of community participation in both personal and shared development. By creating opportunities for others and giving back, she has developed stronger leadership and communication skills, motivating her to encourage young people to reach their full potential. This ongoing personal growth enables her to use her diverse skills more effectively in building a strong and diverse community.
