Hope Ambassador Program
2026-2027 Cohort
The Hope Ambassador Program is a unique pathway that allows young Afghan female students to learn about the Canadian college and university application process, meet Canadian post-secondary students, connect with talented mentors for one-on-one coaching, participate in competitive English classes to improve their language skills, and gain a deeper understanding of Canadian culture, identity, and values.

Webinar series (1 month), September 2026

Mentorship Opportunity (3 months), October to December 2026
The first program (webinar) will begin in late August 2026 and conclude in September 2026. Details regarding the schedule, meeting times, and specific program activities will be shared with selected candidates after the application process is completed.

What do we offer?

High-quality webinar sessions and mentorship from current Canadian college and university students.

Opportunities to explore Canadian culture and learn about educational pathways in Canada.

Networking opportunities with peers and mentors who share similar academic goals and aspirations.

Upon successful completion of the full program (webinar, mentorship, and English Intensive programs), the first top student will receive full funding to take one of the following English proficiency tests: TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English Test. All costs will be covered by Raha Scholars Foundation.

The second and third-ranked students will each receive a CAD $150 award upon completion of the program

All participants who successfully complete the program will receive an official certificate of completion.
Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants must be Afghan females between the ages of 16 and 30.

Applicants must demonstrate intermediate to advanced English proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

Welcome Package Distributed: August 21, 2026 – Selected participants will receive a welcome package containing the full program schedule, meeting links, program expectations, and additional details.
