Salma Belfaiz

Salma Belfaiz is a Bachelor of Science graduate in Psychology from the University of Ottawa, with academic training in mental health, cognitive psychology, and research methodologies. She has research experience in neuroscience and cognitive psychology and has worked as a Research Assistant, Community Advisor, and journalist.

​She has held leadership roles supporting youth-focused, mental wellness, and educational initiatives, with an emphasis on accountability, strategic planning, and sustainability. Her work is closely tied to volunteering and humanitarian efforts aimed at creating meaningful community impact.

​Salma is deeply committed to building transparent and financially responsible organizations that generate long-term value. She believes strong financial stewardship is essential to empowering teams, supporting innovation, and ensuring equitable access to opportunities.

​Outside of her professional work, Salma enjoys volunteering, humanitarian work, and trying new experiences. Her interests include photography, martial arts, and travelling. She speaks three languages and has lived in three countries, experiences that inform her global and cross-cultural perspective.
