Zoya Farahmand
Chief Program Officer
Zoya Farahmand is a fourth-year Biomedical Sciences student with a strong interest in health, research, and community impact. She is the President of the Stem Cell Club, where she leads donor recruitment initiatives by educating students about stem cell donation and organizing swabbing drives to register potential donors.
Beyond campus involvement, Zoya volunteers at CHEO, supporting patients and families, and tutors Indigenous youth to help improve access to education and academic confidence. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to service, mentorship, and health equity.
Driven by compassion and curiosity, Zoya values integrity, collaboration, and using science in ways that directly benefit people and communities. She is motivated by the belief that meaningful change often starts with action and outreach, and she aims to contribute to initiatives that prioritize impact, inclusivity, and care.
